Creatives from around the heart of East Yorkshire are once again opening their doors to the public for a weekend celebration of the arts.
In just a few short years, Pocklington Area Open Studios has rapidly become one of the premier events of its kind in the county - this year including 26 artists across 15 attractive locations, drawing visitors from far and wide.
This compact and enjoyable art trail celebrates quality craftsmanship in its many forms, including painting, ceramics, printmaking, textiles, jewellery, sculpture and photography.
Visitors will be able to meet this diverse and welcoming group of makers and painters in person - many in their own studios and creative surroundings.
Access information can be found under the Venues page of our website. Please note that because of the nature and location of some of the studios, disabled access may not be available everywhere. We suggest that you contact the venue prior to travelling to discuss your needs.
Although most artists now accept card payments, please beaware that some may not. There are ATMs in Pocklington at Sainsburys, the Nationwide Building Society, the A1079 Shell garage, Sewell's Garage on Barmby Moor as well as the Co-Op in Stamford Bridge.
You can get a printed version of this brochure from any of the participating artists or from the Feathers Hotel & Costa Coffee in Pocklington from April 2024. Alternatively there will be a pdf available to download from here.
