Limited edition linocut prints and etchings featuring botanicals, wildlife, Yorkshire landscapes and cityscapes, hand-carved and hand printed using locally sourced oil based inks.
Inspired by nature, family walks, and favourite places, Carrie creates intricate designs that capture the essence of personal memories in visual format. Using time honoured techniques, she crafts single and multi-block plates to produce limited edition prints, in solid colours or multi-tonal layers, at her studio in Stamford Bridge. Through her exploration of perspective and the tactile experience of printmaking, she invites viewers into her world. Carrie also furthers her dedication to the craft as a member of York Printmakers.
