Thrown pottery using coloured stains and white stoneware clay creating unique Celestial Ceramics. Each piece is burnished smooth, glazed inside, matt outside and beautifully tactile. Heartycards: individual photo cards.
In the last few years Caroline has returned to creating pottery. Currently she is marbling clay with coloured stains using reclaimed slip combined with white stoneware clay to throw her Celestial Ceramics. (The clay is coloured throughout the pot and not just a surface finish). Each piece is burnished smooth after turning, then glazed inside to become waterproof. The outside is matt; enhancing the celestial patterns and the beautiful tactile feeling of the pot.
