As a production potter, Gerry likes making functional pots and delights in the knowledge of their everyday use by his customers. His work is inspired by the simplicity of form of the potters from the early 20th century. His shapes are clear and simple with little ornamentation. He enjoys experimenting with the fluidity of overlapping glazes. In the workshop, expect to see large Moon Vases and tall vessels, interspersed with a range of table ware. Function and form entwined together!
