There are number of pubs, cafes & restaurants available in Pocklington,

& there are pubs in Wilberfoss, Fangfoss & Ellerton, where you can find lunch.

You can purchase pieces of work, commission something special, or perhaps sign up for a class or workshop to develop your own artistic skills - or simply have a day out admiring the talent and diversity on offer.

Celebrating Craft & Design Month 2017, nineteen artists in the Pocklington area in the East Riding of Yorkshire will open their studio doors to welcome visitors. Come and see the finished work, and watch the artists creating original pieces using a variety of methods and media.

On 6th and 7th May, 19 artists will be showing off their creative talents, inviting visitors to come and view their work and chat about working methods and inspiration. This special Open Studios is a bijoux event – small enough to get around in a day – especially with our handy trail map – yet packed with innovative and creative art/craft.

Refreshments will be served at many of the venues.

The circular route is designed so that you can visit all the venues in one day.

We celebrated with Hull on 1st Jan watching the fireworks and we’re excited to visit the events occurring in the UK Capital of Culture this year. We are also proud to be adding to the rich culture of Hull and East Riding with or own Open Studios event in the Pocklington Area.
